The SANCAR Armed Unmanned Surface Vehicle (AUSV), which will be procured by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and put into service of the Naval Forces Command, is being developed in cooperation with HAVELSAN-Yonca Onuk Shipyard.
AUSV, which will bring important capabilities; It will take an active role in critical missions such as base protection, search and rescue, intelligence, reconnaissance, surveillance, patrol, surface warfare, and mine countermeasures.
In order to perform all these tasks unmanned, the Phase-1 "factory acceptance tests" of ADVENT ROTA, the "mission mind" owned by SANCAR and distinguishing it from its peers, were successfully completed with the participation of SSB and Naval Forces Command officials.
SANCAR AUSV will be the first platform where ADVENT ROTA, the version of the proven ADVENT Combat Management System (CMS) to be used in unmanned vehicles, which is located on many of the surface platforms of the Turkish navy, will be deployed.
SANCAR AUSV can be controlled from a control station equipped with the ADVENT C4ISR mission system in accordance with NATO Interoperability Standards. Thanks to this capability, the vehicle will have the ability to work with other naval platforms based on ADVENT CMS.
The ADVENT KALYON Mission System, which will be located at the control station, has successfully passed the Phase-1 "factory acceptance tests" jointly with ROTA.
