EDGE and CS Group, a subsidiary of Sopra Steria, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on the development of tactical communications technologies. The agreement was formalised during the Paris Airshow 2025.
The MoU was signed by Waleid Al Mesmari, President of Space & Cyber Technologies at EDGE, and Pierre Lopez, Chief Executive Officer of CS Group. The collaboration focuses on integrating an operational command system with a tactical data network. The objective is to support the development of a sovereign communications capability.
EDGE’s Space & Cyber Technologies cluster will lead the initiative, working with CS Group to co-develop components for digital command and control infrastructures. The project is part of a wider effort to expand capabilities in the multi-domain operational environment.
This agreement reflects a shared intention to address operational communications requirements for military and government users through collaborative research and system integration.
