ASELSAN has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Oman’s Sinan Advanced Industries in the presence of Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman. The signing took place during President Erdoğan’s official visit to Muscat and marks a new phase in the growing defense industry cooperation between the two nations.
ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol stated that the agreement would further strengthen bilateral collaboration in the defense sector. “We believe that this signing, made in the presence of the leaders of both countries, will further strengthen the defense industry cooperation between Türkiye and Oman,” Akyol said. He also expressed gratitude to President Erdoğan for his leadership and support, emphasizing that ASELSAN will continue contributing to global security through international partnerships.
The new joint venture follows ASELSAN’s earlier expansion in the Gulf region, including the opening of its Oman Office in February 2025. The Muscat office joined the company’s existing regional network in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, reinforcing ASELSAN’s presence across the Middle East.
