Tekever showcases AR5 UAV and ARX Project at NATO Tiger Meet 2025

Tekever showcased its AR5 unmanned aerial system and the upcoming ARX Project at Tiger Meet 2025, held in cooperation with the Portuguese Air Force and NATO allies. The company’s participation focused on demonstrating how its UAV solutions contribute to enhanced interoperability, intelligence sharing, and maritime domain awareness within allied operations.

The AR5, Tekever’s medium-altitude, medium-endurance fixed-wing UAV, is designed for missions such as maritime patrol, search and rescue, and surveillance. With a wingspan of 7.3 meters and a payload capacity of 50 kilograms, the platform can operate for up to 20 hours, taking off and landing from unprepared airstrips. It integrates advanced onboard processing with simultaneous EO/IR, radar, and AIS capabilities, providing real-time imagery and sensor data through high-capacity SATCOM links.

The system’s flexible architecture allows the use of multiple payloads and datalinks, while its twin-engine configuration ensures operational reliability. AR5 has been selected for Europe’s first UAS-based maritime surveillance system and is fully ITAR-free, aligning with European defense integration goals.

Alongside AR5, Tekever presented the ARX Project, its next-generation UAV development program. The project aims to expand operational capabilities and incorporate new technologies that support NATO’s modernization objectives in multi-domain operations.
