The collaboration aims to introduce technical, operational, and regulatory requirements for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, the two companies will work on integrating AAM into South Korea\u2019s infrastructure by engaging with government and industry stakeholders. Eve will contribute its expertise in urban air mobility (UAM) solutions, while UI Helicopter will leverage its experience in aviation operations and maintenance within the region.<\/p>\n<p>Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve, stated that AAM has the potential to reshape mobility in urban areas, emphasizing Eve\u2019s commitment to supporting the ecosystem\u2019s technical and regulatory development. Sungwieh Albert Rim, CEO of UI Helicopter, highlighted South Korea\u2019s early efforts in urban air mobility and underscored the importance of building sustainable infrastructure for its expansion.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership will begin with Eve\u2019s UAM market survey to gather data on operational feasibility.
