Turkish defense-tech company STM showcased its military naval platforms, unmanned aerial systems, and autonomous underwater technologies at ADEX 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan, from September 30 to October 2.
The company’s display included the ADA-class corvette developed under the MİLGEM project, the STM MPAC attack boat, and the STM NETA 300 autonomous unmanned underwater vehicle. STM also presented its KARGU loitering munition, TOGAN Mini UAV, and TUNGA-X hunter drone.
KARGU in Service in Azerbaijan
According to STM, KARGU, described by the company as Türkiye’s first indigenous strike UAV, was among the unmanned systems displayed at the exhibition, alongside the TOGAN Mini UAV, developed for reconnaissance and surveillance missions, and TUNGA-X.
STM said KARGU is also in use in Azerbaijan. The company indicated that it is seeking to further develop cooperation with Azerbaijan, particularly in the field of unmanned systems.
Focus on Naval and Unmanned Technologies
STM’s ADEX 2026 portfolio highlighted two key areas of its offering for the Azerbaijani market: military naval platforms and unmanned systems.
The ADA-class corvette and STM MPAC represented the company’s naval solutions, while the NETA 300 demonstrated its autonomous underwater capabilities. KARGU, TOGAN Mini, and TUNGA-X complemented the display with unmanned aerial technologies.
ADEX 2026 was the third international defense exhibition STM attended in September, following MSPO 2026 in Poland and Africa Aerospace and Defense (AAD) 2026 in South Africa. Across the three events, the company presented naval platforms, tactical UAVs, autonomous underwater systems, and strike technologies to international military delegations and defense industry representatives.
