Turkish defense firm HAVELSAN receives NATO certification for its software

Turkish defense industry firm HAVELSAN's software, KARTAL, has achieved NATO certification after successfully completing a testing.

Developed with domestic capabilities, KARTAL is a state-of-the-art warning and command and control system.

The company has demonstrated its expertise on the global stage, showcasing KARTAL at international fairs and exercises.

Recently, HAVELSAN participated in CWIX 2024, NATO's premier digital interoperability exercise held at the NATO Joint Force Training Center in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

During CWIX 2024, KARTAL Command and Control Software, which features real-time air picture generation, surveillance, weapon control, and simulation functions for air forces, made its debut.

Despite being its maiden participation, KARTAL and its associated components successfully passed all Assurance Verification and Validation (AV&V) tests required for NATO certification.

HAVELSAN developed KARTAL Command and Control Software to serve as foundational software for command centers, integrating critical capabilities such as real-time air picture generation, surveillance, weapon control, and simulation functions for Air Force Command Warning Centers.
