According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly, the Turkish defense and aerospace industry sector exported 484 million 907 thousand dollars in November.
Accordingly, the sector's total defense and aerospace exports in the first eleven months of 2023 exceeded 4.8 billion dollars. The sector increased by 30 percent compared to last year.
Thus, the defense and aerospace industry once again broke an export record before the end of the year.
The export figure of the sector in the last 12 months reached 5.5 billion dollars. The export target of the sector for this year was announced as 6 billion dollars.
President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, in his post on his X account, said, "Our defense industry is raising the export bar day by day and taking firm steps towards the goal. I would like to congratulate all our companies that contributed to this success."
