Turkish defense manufacturer Katmerciler announced today that it has signed a contract worth $91 million 415 thousand with Kenya for the sale of armored vehicles.
According to the announcement made by Katmerciler on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the company stated that the contract was signed within the scope of the tender opened by the Ministry of Defense of Kenya for the procurement of 118 mine-resistant armored combat vehicles.
The company also stated that the contract is worth 91 million 415 thousand 182 dollars and that it provides for the supply of spare parts, accessories and maintenance services.
It is reported that the deliveries of the vehicles shall take place between 2022 and 2023.
