Turkish Aerospace to display aerial and space platforms at Qatar

Turkish Aerospace will participate and display aerial and space platforms at DIMDEX 2022 exhibition in Qatar, which will be held between March 21-23, 2022 in Qatar.

The company will display GÖKBEY and HÜRKUŞ mock-ups as well as mock-ups of other platforms which are indigenously designed and developed by Turkish Aerospace engineers. A GÖKTÜRK-2 model will also be displayed at the booth.

Turkish Aerospace will host delegations for new business deals and collaborations. Turkish Aerospace will ink an MOU with Qatar University covering an international internship program and University – Industry collaboration in this context, which will contribute to the development of the aviation industry in the partnering countries.

Sharing his thoughts on participation in DIMDEX 2022 Fair, Turkish Aerospace President & CEO, Prof. Temel Kotil said: “We are excited for participating in the DIMDEX 2022 to share our capabilities in both aviation and space industry with the delegations that will visit our booth. Further to exhibiting our platforms, we will sign an MOU that will contribute to the academic development of both countries in the field of aerospace. We, as Turkish Aerospace, will contribute to the awareness of the aerospace ecosystem for young to have education in the field of engineering sections. Turkish Aerospace is intended to be a company with offices all over the world whose the sun never sets on it, and we will continue to work in this direction.”

At DIMDEX 2022, Turkish Aerospace will be at booth 319 in hall H6.

DIMDEX 2022

DIMDEX 2020, normally hosted by the Qatar Armed Forces, was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. More than 200 companies from 20 different countries are expected to participate in DIMDEX 2022, which will be the seventh DIMDEX.

Approximately 40 companies from Turkey will take part in DIMDEX 2022 as exhibitors. Defense Industry President İsmail Demir is also expected to visit the fair. Turkish companies are also expected to sign important agreements as was the case in previous expos.

DIMDEX 2018

More than 200 companies and more than 13,000 visitors from 69 countries attended DIMDEX 2018. The fair hosted 27 deals and 35 partnerships worth approximately $32 billion.

33 companies from Turkey participated in DIMDEX 2018. The economic size of the contracts signed by Turkish defense industry companies at this fair was approximately 800 million dollars.
