Turkish Aerospace introduced its aircrafts at the 13th LAAD International Defense and Security Expo from 11 to 14 April 2023 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
11 models from space, helicopter, UAV and aircraft groups which were displayed in a 220 square meter booth of TAI, attracted great attention of Brazilian officials as well as other military officials from other countries that came to the fair.
At the LAAD 2019 fair, TAI displayed the performance and the features of the T129 ATAK Helicopter with a demonstration flight for the Brazilian officials in two different cities.
National participation by Türkiye in LAAD 2023
At the largest defense exhibition in Latin America LAAD 2023, 364 companies from 44 countries opened booths. Approximately 45,000 people visited the fair for 4 days, which was attended by official delegations from 71 countries.
Türkiye nationally participated in the fair where various cooperation agreements and sales contracts were signed with 26 companies.
At LAAD 2023, where Defensehere.com was a media partner, the Turkish pavilion became the largest country pavilion in the fair.
