Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) and Embraer have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore potential industrial cooperation opportunities, including the production of E2 aircraft components in Türkiye.
The agreement, signed at LAAD Defense & Security 2025 in Rio de Janeiro, aims to evaluate collaboration in manufacturing and assembling metallic and composite structures, fuselage final assembly, component production, testing, and painting. Turkish Aerospace seeks to contribute its expertise in these areas, while Embraer continues to expand its supplier network to meet increasing global demand for its aircraft.
The MoU was signed by Mustafa Gürsoy, Executive Vice President of Turkish Aerospace, and Francisco Gomes Neto, President and CEO of Embraer, in the presence of Brazil’s Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Trade, and Services Geraldo Alckmin, Türkiye’s Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Muhammet Kasım Gönüllü, and Turkish Aerospace’s Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Şuay Alpay.
This collaboration will include discussions on potential research and development initiatives as both companies explore long-term industrial partnerships.
