Product Line Manager at Thales, Norbert Cadapeaud introduced the shoulder launcher in an interview with Defensehere.com.
He stated that by firing one missile at a time, the shoulder launcher is very lightweight, weighing only 30 kg and is very flexible for dismounted soldiers. It can be used with either Starstreak or LML Missile. It has also an IFF system which is optional.
When the missiles are exported, it is either with vehicle launcher configuration or with shoulder launcher configurations.
He also mentioned the C2 system which is a control system managing all the battery from the sensor to the shooter.
