SJSC Artem to produce large batch of aircraft missiles for Ukraine’s Armed Forces

According to an announcement made by Ukroboronprom on January 14 a new contract for manufacturing of a batch of RS-80 unguided aircraft missiles has been signed between the Artem State Joint-Stock Company and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Under the new contract, the number of missiles to be manufactured is five times larger than the order delivered by SJSC Artem last year.

RS-80 with a fragmentation warhead is developed by Artem State Joint-Stock Company with the scientific and technical support of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The product is designed to destroy armored, lightly armored and unarmored military targets.
