SEDEC 2024 sees 6,000 meetings conducted among 130 firms, organizations

SEDEC 2024, focused on homeland and border security issues, was organized for the fourth time in the capital Ankara from May 21 to May 23, with the support of the Republic of Türkiye’s National Defense Ministry, the Defense Industries Agency (SSB), and the Defense and Aerospace Industry Exporters' Association (SSI).

Bringing together national and international stakeholders in Border Security and Homeland Security, SEDEC 2024 hosted approximately 130 companies and institutions from 53 countries, facilitating nearly 6,000 planned meetings over three days.

The event, exclusive to industry professionals and relevant authorities, saw 4,250 registered attendees over the duration of the event.

As a platform for forging new collaborations, SEDEC 2024 also hosted signing ceremonies aimed at fostering partnerships between foreign original equipment manufacturers and 1st and 2nd level suppliers with small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and major industry players in the Turkish defense and security sector.
