Saab receives additional live training equipment order from U.S. Marines

Saab has been awarded a contract modification by the U.S. Marine Corps for the delivery of additional Marine Corps Training Instrumentation Systems (MCTIS). The total order value is $37 million (SEK 375 million), with deliveries scheduled between 2025 and 2027.

The order will enable the Marine Corps to further deploy Saab’s MCTIS capability, which is designed to enhance live training in realistic environments. The system plays a crucial role in improving performance and survivability by supporting the development of tactics, techniques, and procedures, and facilitating joint exercises with NATO allies.

This contract follows Saab’s initial collaboration with the U.S. Marine Corps, which began in June 2021, and the transition from the previous Instrumentation and Tactical Engagement Simulation System II (ITESS-II) to the MCTIS.
