Raytheon to supply AMRAAM missiles to US allied air forces

Raytheon has been awarded two contracts regarding its Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile through Foreign Military Sales to several NATO and Middle Eastern partners, and Australia.

Raytheon Missiles & Defense has been awarded a $51,149,172 firm-fixed-price modification to contract FA8675-20-C-0033 for the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) production program. This modification provides for the procurement and upgrade of test environment/equipment for AMRAAM production capacity.

Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be completed January 2025. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales (FMS) to Norway, Denmark, Australia, United Kingdom, Japan, Slovakia, Poland, Netherlands, Kuwait, Qatar and Spain. Air Force fiscal 2020 missile procurement funds in the amount of $16,717,336; Navy fiscal 2020 weapons procurement funds in the amount of $11,552,000; and FMS funds in the amount of $22,879,836 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Missile Systems has been awarded a $9,703,375 firm-fixed-price modification to contract FA8675-20-C-0033 for Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) production baseline rocket motors.

This contract modification provides for the production of Air Force baseline rocket motors for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries Norway and Chile. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be completed May 14, 2023. FMS funds in the full amount are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.
