Finland’s defense giant Patria Group announced on Wednesday that it hosted a meeting with the ambassador of Ukraine to Finland, Mykhailo Vodoinyk, at the company’s facilities in Hämeenlinna.
Reportedly, the ambassador was accompanied by the Ukrainian embassy delegation and the mayors Olli-Poika Parviainen and Toni Laine.
During the visit, Jussi Järvinen, Executive Vice President of Patria’s Protected Mobility business area, presented the production site and its capabilities, with the focus on the Patria TRACKX and Patria 6×6 vehicles, as the latter are currently in operational use in Ukraine.
“We would like to thank our guests for the valuable discussions and the insightful meeting,” the statement concludes.
Last month, Patria signed an agreement with the Ukrainian drone manufacturer Center of Unmanned Technologies LLC (“General Cherry”) for the joint development of unmanned solutions.
