"In addition to being a supplier of NATO and United Nations, today we have nearly 33 thousand military vehicles serving nearly 60 users in more than 40 countries. We make a difference with our military vehicles and the wide variety of products that we develop and produce against present and future threats. In the last 10 years, we have allocated approximately 7 percent of our turnover to R&D activities. We respond to the changing needs and expectations of various users in the best way possible with our global know-how, superior R&D, design, and engineering capabilities. Additionally, we also stand out with our technology transfer capabilities.
We reflect the experience we have gained in different geographies around the world in our vehicle development process. South America is one of Otokar's most important markets. Our military vehicles, which are already serving successfully in this region, have given us significant experience in accurately analyzing the needs of the region. As Otokar, we closely monitor opportunities for exporting to the region and aim to develop new partnerships."
