A contract was signed between Asisguard, which produces electro-optical vision and border security systems, military vehicle electronics solutions and rotary-wing unmanned systems, and Nurol Makina for the Nigeria Road Safety Project.
The agreement and contract made at Nurol Makina facilities were signed by Asisguard General Manager Barış Düzgün and Nurol Makina General Manager Engin Aykol.
Turkish defense industry companies have joined forces for the internal security project in Nigeria.
In this context, Asisguard will procure YORUK 4X4 vehicles from armored land vehicle manufacturer Nurol Makina to be used in the Road Safety Project to be carried out in Nigeria.
According to the contract, within the scope of the Nigeria Road Safety Project, 13 YORUK 4X4 vehicles will be exported. Thus, the number of countries where YORUK 4X4 is used will increase to 5.
With the project, where HAVELSAN and STM's unmanned aerial vehicles will be sold abroad, the products of around 10 companies, including Gurbag Defense and MILMAST, will be exported.
