Naval Group to participate in IDEX and NAVDEX 2025

Naval Group will take part in the 17th edition of the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX), scheduled to be held from February 17-21, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC). The company will showcase its latest naval defense technologies at booths 07-A11 (IDEX) and B-059 (NAVDEX).

Presence in the Middle East and Ongoing Cooperation

IDEX and NAVDEX serve as key platforms for Naval Group to engage with regional partners and defense stakeholders. The company has been active in the Middle East for over 30 years, working with regional navies on defense projects. Naval Group’s recent cooperation includes the delivery of two Gowind corvettes to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2023 and 2024 and ongoing support for the Saudi Arabian Navy’s SAWARI program. The company aims to strengthen its partnership with the UAE Navy and expand its role in regional defense initiatives.

Naval Capabilities

Naval Group provides a comprehensive portfolio of solutions, ranging from fully integrated warships to autonomous systems and support services. The company will highlight several key offerings at IDEX and NAVDEX, including:

FDI Frigate: A multi-role frigate designed for high-intensity naval operations. The French and Hellenic navies have selected this platform, with initial deliveries expected in 2025.

Multipurpose and Modular Launching System (MPLS): A system designed to counter asymmetric threats, capable of deploying various types of munitions.

Unmanned Systems: Naval Group has been developing unmanned technologies for over 15 years, offering solutions for force integration and naval operations.

Lifecycle Support and Modernization: The company provides maintenance and upgrade solutions for warships and submarines to enhance operational capabilities.
