The MSPO 2026 International Defence Industry Exhibition, held in Kielce, Poland, has opened its doors.
The exhibition, taking place between September 8 and 11, features 1,209 companies from 43 countries. Sixty official foreign delegations have also arrived in Kielce for MSPO. While 11 halls and outdoor exhibition areas are being utilized at the venue, a newly built 18,500-square-meter exhibition hall is also welcoming visitors for the first time this year.
Poland’s defense spending at the center of the exhibition
One of the key topics increasing the significance of this year’s MSPO is the rapid rise in Poland’s defense spending.
Poland is expected to allocate approximately 200 billion zlotys, or about $53.8 billion, to defense in 2026. This figure corresponds to approximately 4.8 percent of the country’s gross domestic product. The continuation of the war in Ukraine and Poland’s rapid modernization of its military make MSPO a crucial commercial meeting point for defense companies.
In recent years, Poland has carried out numerous large-scale procurements from the U.S., such as Abrams tanks, F-35 fighter jets, Apache helicopters, Patriot air defense systems, and HIMARS rocket systems. Additionally, Warsaw is striving to increase its domestic defense industry production capacity and ammunition manufacturing.
Therefore, new procurement agreements, joint production models, technology transfers, and collaborations aimed at local production are expected to come to the forefront at MSPO 2026.

Turkish defense industry signature at MSPO
Türkiye is showcasing a broad portfolio of products and technologies at the exhibition with companies such as ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, STM, MKE, and CTech.
The 34th MSPO, taking place between September 8 and 11, brings together defense companies, military delegations, and industry professionals from various countries around the world as one of Europe’s leading defense industry events. Türkiye is also exhibiting a wide range of products and technologies at the fair with companies including ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, STM, MKE, and CTech.
The exhibition brings together solutions in different areas of the defense industry, ranging from land, air, and naval platforms to missile systems, unmanned vehicles, electronic warfare, and communication technologies.
Türkiye’s defense industry relations with Poland have also been developing remarkably in recent years. The process, which began particularly with Poland’s procurement of the Bayraktar TB2, is expanding with new collaborations in electronic warfare, radar, missile systems, and other defense technologies.
ASELSAN secures new contract in Poland
ASELSAN, one of Türkiye’s exhibiting companies, stands out with its solutions in the fields of defense electronics, electronic warfare, air defense, radar, communications, and unmanned systems.
During MSPO 2026, ASELSAN signed a contract with Polish armored vehicle manufacturer AMZ-Kutno for a joint project covering additional ARSUS reconnaissance and surveillance systems. This agreement stands out as a new step in ASELSAN’s strategy to develop its local collaborations in Poland and its presence in the European market.
Polish President Karol Nawrocki also visited the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and ASELSAN stands on the first day of the exhibition. SSB President Haluk Görgün accompanied Nawrocki during the visit, briefing him on the capabilities of Türkiye’s defense industry and the cooperation between Türkiye and Poland.
Naval platforms and unmanned systems from STM
Another important representative of Türkiye at MSPO is STM. The company is exhibiting a broad portfolio consisting of naval platforms, autonomous systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles at the fair.
At the STM stand, models of the I-Class Frigate, STM MPAC Fast Attack Craft, and STM500 small-sized submarine are prominently featured, along with the Replenishment at Sea and Logistics Support Ship project being built for the Portuguese Navy. This project is notable for being Türkiye’s first military ship export to a European Union and NATO member state.
On the unmanned naval systems side, the STM NETA 300 Unmanned Autonomous Underwater Vehicle and the swarm-capable kamikaze unmanned surface vessel STM YAKTU are being exhibited.
In air systems, KARGU, TOGAN Mini, TUNGA-X, and KUZGUN are being presented to visitors. According to STM’s statement, KARGU has been exported to more than 15 countries across four continents to date.
Next-generation communication technologies from CTech
CTech, a subsidiary of TUSAŞ, is showcasing its satellite and line-of-sight (LOS) communication solutions developed for air, land, and naval platforms in Poland.
While the company is conducting a demo of its new UfukLink Mini Pro line-of-sight communication product at the exhibition, it is also displaying its next-generation electronically scanned satellite communication antenna SkyARX E-Ku models for the first time at MSPO.
The SecureARX Anti-Jam Satellite Communication Modem, which is in the NATO inventory, is also among the solutions introduced at the exhibition.
New agreements expected from MSPO
MSPO 2026 is not merely an exhibition where new defense technologies are showcased. Poland’s increasing defense budget and the security environment in Europe make the organization significant in terms of new procurement and cooperation opportunities.
One of the traditionally prominent topics of the exhibition is the signing of contracts and agreements. The organization management considers MSPO a crucial decision-making and collaboration platform for the Polish defense sector.
At last year’s MSPO, 43 arms agreements and contracts were signed, while 39,000 visitors and 170 official delegations attended the fair. Following the 2025 event, which featured 811 exhibiting companies, 99 percent of the participants stated they were satisfied with the exhibition.
With participation reaching a record level of over 1,200 companies this year, new agreements are expected to come to the agenda at MSPO, particularly in the areas of air defense, missiles and ammunition, unmanned systems, electronic warfare, radar, cybersecurity, and land vehicles.
