Türkiye's leading ammunition and weapon manufacturer MKE unveiled a new bottom mine that can be launched from air platforms including fighter aircrafts, F-16 jets, as well as drones, AKINCI and AKSUNGUR at the 16th International Defense Industry Fair, IDEF 2023.
UÇA is an air-launched sea mine that can be dropped by aircraft such as F-16 jets and large unmanned aircraft such as AKINCI and AKSUNGUR drones from 70 kilometers range. MKE announced the new system a prior to IDEF 2023.
In todays signing ceremony, MKE announced that the system is developed by MKE, with the partnership of TUBITAK-SAGE, and Koç Savunma.
