Embraer has announced that LOTAMS, a major MRO provider based in Poland, has been officially designated as Europe’s first Authorized Service Centre (EASC) for the Embraer E2 aircraft family. This designation follows the successful completion of the authorization and audit process by the Polish Civil Aviation Authority. With extensive experience and a well-established presence in Europe, LOTAMS will provide a range of services for E2 aircraft, including routine checks, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and component repairs.
LOTAMS and Embraer have collaborated for over a decade, initially formalizing their maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) relationship in 2012. Since then, LOTAMS has provided extensive services for Embraer’s E-Jets, performing an average of 250,000 hours of maintenance per year. To date, LOTAMS has accumulated approximately three million hours in heavy and line maintenance checks, solidifying its position as one of the leading MRO providers in Europe.
As part of its continuous growth, LOTAMS operates five dedicated maintenance bays for E-Jet aircraft, with plans to expand to accommodate the increasing demand for services on the E2 fleet.
“We are proud to certify our facilities as an authorized E2 aircraft maintenance center. This marks the next step in our longstanding relationship with Embraer, and we are ready to support the E2 fleet across Europe,” said Ewa Kołowiecka, CEO of LOTAMS.
Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support, highlighted the longstanding partnership, noting that LOTAMS’ qualification as the first European E2 EASC is a fitting recognition of their successful collaboration. He also expressed optimism about continuing their cooperation in the future.
