Lockheed Martin to produce F-16 Viper Shield EW systems for 5 nations

Lockheed Martin has secured a $520.4 million modification to a previously awarded contract for the production of the Block 70/72 F-16 Viper Shield electronic warfare suite under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.

Under the contract, the company is set to begin production tasks, expanding the current long lead materials contract.

The FMS program includes sales to Bahrain, Bulgaria, Morocco, Slovakia, and Taiwan.

The contract is expected to be completed by June 30, 2028.
