At the LAAD Defence & Security exhibition held in Rio de Janeiro from April 1–4, L3Harris highlighted its advanced night vision goggle and tactical communication technologies aimed at the Latin American market.
Speaking to Defensehere.com, Ricardo Andrade Rosaldo, Sales Director for Latin America, introduced the Ground Panoramic Night Vision Goggle (GPNVG) and Falcon III radio systems.
The GPNVG offers a 97-degree panoramic field of view, designed to improve situational awareness during night operations. It can integrate real-time data such as GPS coordinates and weapon status directly into the user’s field of vision.
Complementing this, the Falcon III radio series enables long-range, infrastructure-independent communication. Available in portable and vehicle-mounted configurations, the radios also feature IP capability, making them suitable for modern digital battlefield environments.
Both systems are currently in service with NATO and Five Eyes nations (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand).
