In an exclusive interview with defensehere.com, Luis Gueren, Regional Marketing Director of Hensoldt, explained Hensoldt's regional prospects and products in particular radars.
"We are quite new at the industry. Some years before that we were part of Airbus defense and the space. Because of some strategy planification, we decided to create a new company. Airbus stay with all the flights and aircrafts. We are now house of sensors. We are now selling and promoting our sensors in the regions." he said.
"These sensors; we have radars, land radars and air radars. We are providing solutions for tanks, armored vehicles, plenty of products in the region, quite strong. Our core are the radars. So we are showing our radars here in the region. We have land radars that we are presenting to the Army, to the Navy." explained Gueren.
He also said that "These are really innovative products that cannot emit, cannot be detected, but we can detected aircrafts that are flying in our airspace. We are always developing new products for the region. So we are running after to show our solutions here in the in the region. We have periscopes for tanks, some optronics. The Brazilian navy chose our TRS-4D as a main volumetric 3D radar for their project. We are always developing new things to bring for our clients."
