HENSOLDT applies AI image analysis in EDF STORE project

HENSOLDT announced that it is contributing its expertise in artificial intelligence-based image data analysis to the European Defence Fund (EDF) STORE project.

The company is developing software that uses AI algorithms to ensure sensors deliver only mission-relevant information to users.

The STORE project focuses on improving reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities by networking sensor and effector systems.

It brings together 27 partners from 12 EU countries and is coordinated by Indra.

The project will run for 36 months and is supported with €44 million in funding under the EDF 2022 program.
