Turkish defense industry company HAVELSAN will participate in the World Defense Show (WDS), which will be held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on 04 – 08 February 2024.
HAVELSAN, which will host its visitors at booth A4 in Hall 1, will hold various meetings within the scope of the fair.
At WDS 2024, which will be the second edition and will last for 5 days, the company will be showcasing the following products:
• ADVENT naval battle management system
• DOOB C41 system
• TICCS air force command and control system
• MATRA maritime security solution
• BAHA sub-cloud UAV system
• SANCAR armed unmanned surface vehicle
In the written statement made by the company, it was emphasized that each product of HAVELSAN is a proof of its progress towards the "future of defense technology with intelligence, precision and effectiveness". In the statement, it was also said that HAVELSAN will exhibit its "groundbreaking technologies" with the theme of "Coding a Reliable Future".
World Defense Show (WDS)
Organized by the General Directorate of Military Industry of Saudi Arabia (GAMI), the WDS held under the auspices of King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.
WDS aims to be an important platform for networking, cooperation, experience sharing and innovation in all areas of the global defense industry.
At WDS, which will last for 5 days, defense companies will exhibit their products in an area of 800,000 m2 consisting of three large exhibition halls and open-air exhibition areas.
WDS offers a dedicated platform for breakthroughs in defense technology, where entrepreneurs and manufacturers can showcase their transformative concepts and technologies to the global defense industry. R&D services are also offered in the Innovation area within the center. In addition, topics such as advances in defense technology, changing security threats and the impact of innovative start-ups will be discussed in panels. On the other hand, a series of events will be hosted with financing presentations and an investor program. Investors, companies and firms will be offered business development opportunities and will be able to make relevant connections.
WDS 2022
WDS was held for the first time in 2022. More than 600 companies from more than 40 countries participated in WDS in 2022, and more than 65 thousand people visited the fair. At the fair, which was visited by more than 100 international delegations, it was announced that the value of the defense agreements signed was 29.7 billion Saudi Riyals (7.9 billion US Dollars).
