HAVELSAN showcases its solutions at LIMA 2023 exhibition in Malaysia

HAVELSAN, one of the leading companies in the Turkish defence sector, exhibits a various product portfolio such as C4ISR solutions, ADVENT Network Enabled Naval Combat Management System, digital troops composed of UGV, UAV, and AUSV (Armed Unmanned Surface Vehicle) at Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition in Malaysia.

In a video released by the company, the General Manager of HAVELSAN, Mehmet Akif Nacar, mentioned HAVELSAN’s perspective on the region as well as its motivation for attending LIMA.

“We came to Langkawi for the second time to represent our valuable Turkish indigenous products and solutions and projects. Here in Southeast Asia here in this region in Malaysia, we wanted to make more valuable products here with transferring technologies and working together closely till our brother and allied country Malaysia, to develop more products and projects and solutions for Malaysians. In the case of HAVELSAN what we do is we do provide c4isr systems, simulation and autonomous technologies and platform management technologies. And we provide cyber homeland security and information and communication technologies. So far, we have been valuable to our customer. We signed great MOUs with valuable customers and partners, which will enable the extension of our stay and do more work in Malaysia in the next coming months and coming years. Thank you.” General Manager of HAVELSAN, Mehmet Akif Nacar explained.

The company also signed important MoUs and contracts which lay the ground of strategic partnerships which HAVELSAN is involved in Malaysia and in the APAC region. Some of the deals;  HAVELSAN & VENTURA: A cooperation agreement was signed in the areas of critical infrastructure and facility security. HAVELSAN & G7 Aerospace Sdn: A MOU for cooperation in projects for the Air Force was signed. HAVELSAN & UPNM Malaysian National Defense University: A cooperation agreement was signed for cooperation in the fields of command control, simulation systems and cyber security.

Attendees of LIMA 2023 can visit HAVELSAN at HALL C, stand C11 at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC) in Langkawi, Malaysia.

Opening its doors for the 16th time this year, LIMA is acknowledged as the most important maritime and aviation expo in the Asia-Pacific region.
