HAVELSAN exhibits products and services in the United Arab Emirates

HAVELSAN, a Turkish software and systems company with business presence in the defence and IT sectors, exhibited its products and showcased its services at the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2023) and the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX 2023) held between 20-24 February 2023 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

HAVELSAN International Business Development and Marketing Assistant General Manager Şevket Ünal evaluated the IDEX & NAVDEX 2023 fairs in an interview with Defensehere.com.

Stating that they held meetings with different countries, Ünal said:

“We exhibited our products and solutions for 5 days at IDEX and NAVDEX.

Especially at the NAVDEX fair, we hosted many of our customers from the navy, as our stand was large. We also met with officials from countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

We signed a number of cooperation agreements. Our stand is on the NAVDEX side, but on the IDEX side, we exhibited our unmanned land vehicle Barkan, Kapgan and our unmanned Sub-Cloud aircraft at the booth of our International Golden Group (IGG) business partner.

With the recent development of our relations with our customers, we have seen their interest in Turkish products and solutions. We held meetings with the land, air and navy authorities of many countries and explained our services.

With the IDEX & NAVDEX fair, we want to further develop our business opportunities and network in the future.

In the meantime, we already have some continuation offers, we plan to give good news in 2023.”
