German defense company ARX Robotics has opened a local subsidiary in Poland, Reuters writes, citing the firm. Reportedly, the manufacturer intends to invest a double-digit-million-euro sum in a new endeavor, seeking to build a presence closer to NATO’s eastern flank.
Backed by the NATO Innovation Fund, ARX Robotics plans to launch permanent headquarters in Poland, along with training, maintenance, and technical support facilities, to create highly skilled jobs and to develop industrial partnerships in the future.
Reportedly, the company intends to cooperate with Poland’s armed forces, government, and domestic defense industry to explore opportunities for the deployment, production, and long-term support of autonomous ground systems.
