Turkish defense giant HAVELSAN gets a new logo

The new logo of HAVELSAN, one of the leading companies of the Turkish defense industry, was introduced at a ceremony held in front of the administration building of HAVELSAN's main premises in Ankara.

The President of the Presidency of Turkish Defence Industries İsmail Demir, the General Manager of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation Sadık Piyade, HAVELSAN’ Chairman Mustafa Murat Şeker, HAVELSAN’s General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar and other HAVELSAN executives attended the ceremony, which was broadcast live on YouTube.

In his speech at the opening of the ceremony, HAVELSAN’s General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar said:

A brand-new face and brand image are indispensable for a new vision, a new strategy and a new technology trend.

I would like to express that we are happy to share with you the new logo of HAVELSAN, which reflects our new vision and approach of today’s technological transformation.

As a part of our new vision, we would like to share with you an important step we have taken towards future technologies.

We have made significant progress in technologies that we call digital units for the future battlefield.

We kept our promise that we gave at the beginning of the year where before the year ends, we were capable of operationalizing our unmanned ground vehicle not only that but we were also capable of bringing these systems to a level where they can operate together using swarm intelligence.

In his speech at the opening of the ceremony, HAVELSAN’s Chairman, Mustafa Murat Şeker, said:

Logos are a kind of a signature for companies and their vision of future, somehow expressing their motto.

Today, we are renewing the logo of HAVELSAN, which has been used for almost a quarter of a century now, with a slightly more original design with a new touch. I hope this will yield in new vision of course with your contribution.

We believe that it will also be a signature that reflects HAVELSAN’s forward-looking vision.

Defense Industry President Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir said the following in his speech at the opening of the ceremony:

Corporate image and corporate identity also contain certain messages. HAVELSAN has a very long history.

We see that this logo change brings new energy, new excitement news new vision. We receive affirming messages from the management that this is the general energy in the company and that they believe that this is what will be. We are in really close contacts with the company and we will continue to be so.
