General Dynamics will present a range of defense solutions at the Association of the U.S. Army’s Global Force Symposium & Exposition, taking place from March 25-27, 2025, in Huntsville, Alabama. Three of its business units—General Dynamics Land Systems, General Dynamics Mission Systems, and General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems—will exhibit their latest technologies.
General Dynamics Land Systems (Booth 1515)
Pandur SHORAD: Making its public debut, the Pandur SHORAD is a 6×6 short-range air defense vehicle featuring Moog’s RIwP turret integrated onto a Pandur Evo combat platform. Designed for maneuverability and modular payloads, it offers command and control capabilities for infantry brigades. The vehicle is lighter than the fielded SGT Stout and features internally mounted drivetrain components to enhance durability.
VITALS (Vehicle Intelligence Tools & Analytics for Logistics and Sustainment): This predictive maintenance system uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide logistics data through five modules: Maintenance App, Vehicle Module, Digital Motorpool, Command Module, and Fleet Management Module. The system is already in use within U.S. Army Stryker Brigade Combat Teams and is undergoing further evaluation on various platforms.
General Dynamics Mission Systems (Booth 1520)
Next Generation Combat Survival Radio (NGSR): Developed under a U.S. Air Force program, this radio provides secure voice and data communications for combat search and rescue missions. It transmits encrypted location data and situation reports to enhance personnel recovery operations.
Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT): A software suite that combines mission planning and airspace control capabilities into a unified solution, IMPACT supports command post, mobile, and mounted computing environments, improving interoperability among military forces.
Smart Munitions: The exhibit will feature key subsystems such as Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities, Software-Defined Radios (SDR), and guidance electronic units aimed at enhancing long-range precision fires and networked anti-vehicle munitions.
GPS Source Assured PNT Solutions: The Fight Tonight and Modified Reception Pattern Antenna (MRPA) solutions provide secure navigation capabilities in GPS-challenged environments. These scalable solutions are designed for tactical ground vehicles based on U.S. Department of Defense requirements.
Encryption and Secure Communications:
TACLANE®: High-assurance encryption solutions for classified communications.
Sectéra® Secure Voice: Devices providing secure end-to-end communication, including the Sectéra vIPer Universal Secure Phone.
ProtecD@R®: Data-at-rest encryption devices for securing sensitive information in enterprise and tactical environments.
Next Generation Load Device-Medium (NGLD-M): A cryptographic key management device designed to replace aging key loaders in military networks.
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems
Missile Subsystems: The company will present advancements in missile technology, covering lethality, propulsion, and control systems, along with simulation and development capabilities.
155mm Artillery Systems: General Dynamics provides artillery solutions including metal parts, high-explosive fills, and Modular Artillery Charges (MACS). The company integrates these components into a complete suite of 155mm artillery munitions designed for long-range and high-impact operations.
