GA-ASI invests in Dutch tech firms from Blue Magic Netherlands

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) has announced investments in two Dutch companies—Emergent Swarm Solutions and Saluqi Motors—following their participation in the inaugural Blue Magic Netherlands (BMN) event held in November 2024.

Emergent Swarm Solutions specializes in software for autonomous flight and decentralized swarming capabilities for unmanned vehicles. GA-ASI is collaborating with Emergent to enhance autonomy features in its current and future aircraft.

Saluqi Motors develops high-density motors with integrated electronics, offering increased power and torque in compact designs suitable for airborne platforms. GA-ASI aims to qualify Saluqi’s products for aerospace applications and co-develop new solutions.

The BMN event, organized by GA-ASI in partnership with the Dutch Ministries of Defense and Economic Affairs, Brainport Development, and the Brabant Development Agency, focused on areas such as AI/ML, autonomy, advanced materials, sensors, advanced manufacturing, and space. Out of nearly 50 applicants, 16 companies were selected to present their technologies.

GA-ASI has previously held similar events in Belgium and continues to support technological innovation within the Dutch defense and aerospace sectors.
