Exclusive interview: Huneed Technologies’ cutting-edge communication technologies revealed

The latest communication technologies were introduced by Riley Jin, Planning Team at Huneed Technologies, during an interview with Defensehere.com.

Jin presented Huneed Technologies’ main product Acom-TR2 Set which allows end-to-end point communication and can be installed in armored vehicles.

She also said that Acom-TR2 Set can also be set up as an emergency communication between command units and soldiers out in the field to enable a connected battlefield hence it’s easily deployable and portable.

Even though Huneed Technologies specializes in military tactical telecommunication, she pointed out the company is in the process of developing an “emergency communication system” and said the following:

“While mainly our products are currently being used in military environment, we also want them to be deployable for civilian use as well. In cases of natural disasters such as earthquake, tsunami or maybe during post-war, disasters when the communication lines are all down, our system can easily deploy where normal communication systems can’t be reached and provide quick service.”

She also indicated that the ROK Armed Forces are the company’s main customer but that they’re also open in collaborating and working with future partners all around the world.
