IDEF 2025: International Defence Industry Fair Set to Return in July
The 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025) will take place from July 22-27, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Center, hosted by the Turkish Ministry of National Defence and supported by the Presidency of Defence Industries. Organized by KFA Fairs Organization Inc., with management under the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, IDEF remains one of the most prestigious global events for the defense sector.
IDEF serves as a premier platform for state and private sector officials to showcase new technologies, products, and innovations in the defense industry. The 2023 edition featured 1,461 exhibitors from 54 countries and attracted 94,198 professional visitors from 107 countries. It also hosted 187 official delegations from 78 countries and 3 international organizations. The event facilitated 141 signing ceremonies, leading to numerous national and international agreements. Alongside the exhibitions, 5,397 planned meetings were organized, further promoting networking and business development.
IDEF 2025 aims to build on this success by introducing new concepts while continuing to offer a comprehensive platform for industry professionals from across the world. The fair is expected to attract even more global participants and delegates in 2025, continuing its role as a major event in the international defense calendar.
