Successful completion of critical field tests has enabled the integration of RF-Seeker equipped missiles into the HİSAR O+ Air Defense Missile System. This system, a collaborative effort between Aselsan and Roketsan, is part of an initiative led by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) to fulfill Türkiye's layered air defense requirements using domestic capabilities.
During a two-shot test activity involving SSB and Turkish Armed Forces representatives, high-speed targets at both close range and low altitude, as well as distant range and high altitude, were effectively neutralized.
In his evaluation of the project's delivery, SSB President Haluk Görgün stated:
"The HİSAR O+ national air defense missile system of Türkiye has achieved successful target destruction at varying ranges with the incorporation of its new RF-Seeker equipped missile. With the layered air and missile defense capabilities offered by the HİSAR O+ System, we enhance the tactical prowess and firepower of our security forces, expand our borders, and introduce highly effective air defense solutions. I extend my gratitude to ROKETSAN, ASELSAN, and all subcontractor companies contributing to the project."
With the HİSAR O+ System, the ability to use missiles with different characteristics together has been incorporated, resulting in an increase in system performance.
