HAVELSAN, which produces software-based solutions in the Turkish defense industry, announced that it has developed the first instant messaging application "İleti", which uses white-box cryptography to ensure secure communication.
HAVELSAN made the following statement about the issue:
Developed by HAVELSAN and expected to meet the communication needs of our institutions reliably from the moment it is put into use, "İleti" is the first instant messaging product to use white-box cryptography.
With "İleti", the personnel of the institutions can message among themselves, make secure voice and video calls, share media and files, and make collective meetings through corporate groups.
"İleti" developed by HAVELSAN engineers by producing unique cryptography algorithms in collaboration with universities, it has security technologies that are not included in the existing mobile communication platforms.
Institutions were given the opportunity to manage their own processes with application updates, user and group management via the central management panel, application publishing features without using the application stores (Google Play Store, Apple Store, etc.).
