DSTA–RSAF partnership with Anduril on mission autonomy

The Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) and the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) have partnered with U.S. defense technology company Anduril Industries to develop and explore mission autonomy technologies that enable manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T).

The partnership will involve adapting Anduril’s Lattice software platform to enable autonomous operations of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in coordination with manned aircraft. The initiative aims to enhance situational awareness, reduce cognitive workload, and allow rapid autonomous decision-making in complex missions.

The collaboration is expected to support joint experimentation and demonstration efforts, facilitating the integration of autonomous systems into future air combat capabilities for Singapore.
