Within the scope of the ASELPOD Targeting Pod Development and Integration Project initiated by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) to meet the needs of the Air Force Command and carried out by Aselsan, fourteenth serial production field acceptance tests were completed and delivered successfully.
President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün shared the following from his social media accounts about the ASELPOD Targeting Pod Development and Integration Project:
"ASELPOD, our best national technological eye, continues to develop. Our Air Force becomes stronger at the disposal of the world's best fighter pilots with the world's most advanced technologies. I congratulate ASELSAN personnel and subcontractors who have contributed to the development of the ASELPOD system, which undertakes one of the most critical tasks in combat aircraft."
Negotiations are continuing for the export of the system, which has been delivered to friendly and allied countries in large numbers, to new countries
Many functions of ASELPOD, which is developed uniquely and nationally, perform at or beyond the level of operationally equivalent products, and can successfully perform target tracking and targeting functions with its advanced image processing algorithms.
