Defence Turkey Magazine to organize int’l conference in Ankara

Defence Turkey Magazine will hold the “International Future Soldier Conference” in the capital Ankara on Oct. 19. at Sheraton Hotel. 

Focusing on revealing the possibilities for joint synergy and cooperation in the field of “future soldier concept and technologies,” the main theme of the event will be “The Warrior, Today and Tomorrow.”

The magazine announced that the opening speech will be delivered by Turkey’s Defense Industries Presidency head Ismail Demir.

Lieutenant General Sinan Yayla, commander of the Turkish Land Forces’ Training and Doctrine Command (EDOK), will also participate as a keynote speaker at the event.

Officials from 26 countries are expected to attend the conference that aims to bring together local and international representatives of the defense industry, military institutions, relevant organizations. 

A lot of prominent Turkish technology and defense companies will also attend the event to promote their latest products. 

The event will be organized with the support of Turkey’s Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Defense Industries Presidency (SSB), and Defence and Aerospace Manufacturers Association (SaSaD), along with the cooperation of Teknokent Defence Industry Cluster (TSSK) from Middle East Technical University (METU) technology park.
