CANiK continues its export-oriented global exhibition adventure with Poland and England in September. CANiK, which is preparing to showcase for the first time its newest products exhibited at IDEF’23, abroad together with its Group companies, is preparing to make history in Poland and England. CANiK aims to grow by 45 percent for 2023 and to accelerate its orders in 2024 with fairs in Poland and England.
CANiK continues its preparations for the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI 2023) exhibition, one of the world’s leading and most prestigious exhibitions, in London, the capital of England, from 12-15 September 2023. Ahead of DSEI 2023, CANiK aims to raise the bar even higher with MSPO 2023, the oldest defence exhibition in Eastern Europe, to be held in Poland on 5-8 September.
To be showcased abroad for the first time
CANiK, which acquired the well-established British company AEI Systems, one of the three medium-caliber gun manufacturers in the world, last year, is preparing to set a new export record with its highly acclaimed products exhibited at the International Defense Industry Fair IDEF’23. CANiK will introduce the national stabilized advanced remote weapon turret family developed by SYS (Samsun Yurt Savunma) group company UNIROBOTICS, which includes CANiK M3 and CANiK, to the world at the international fair for the first time after IDEF’23 at the fairs in Poland and England.
Manufacturer with the largest inventory in the world
CANiK launched the CANiK M2F in October-November last year, which has 950 shots per minute, shortly after delivering the CANiK M2 QCB, a national anti-aircraft weapon that has proven itself in combat (Combat Proven), to the Turkish Army’s headquarters. At IDEF’23 last month, the fastest version of this family, the CANiK M3, which between 1100 and 1200 shots per minute, was launched. With the M3, CANiK became the weapon manufacturer with the largest inventory of 12.7 x 99 mm heavy machine guns in the world.
2024 will be the year of CANiK’s subsidiaries AEI Systems and UNIROBOTICS
CANiK General Manager Cahit Utku Aral stated that there are many large-scale defense industry agreements between the United Kingdom, which has the second largest defense budget of NATO, and Poland, the 8th most densely populated country in Europe, and, Türkiye, and said, “As you know, we have serious investments we have made by purchasing the well-established British company AEI Systems in the United Kingdom, which has the second largest defense budget of NATO. However, Poland, which has a land border with Russia and is also used as a buffer zone of European borders, is one of the most strategic countries in today’s Europe due to its location. Therefore, these two countries have always been important markets for the world defense industry. While the UK DSEI is the league of giants where the world’s largest defense industry companies take place, MSPO is the oldest defense exhibition in Eastern Europe. We expect to sign new agreements with friendly and allied countries in the UK and Poland and to take part in new markets. We believe that orders for 2024 will gain momentum with the UK and Poland fairs. In 2023, we have a target of 45 percent growth in dollar terms compared to last year, and we will carry the bar even higher in 2024 with new orders. 2024 will be the year of AEI Systems and UNIROBOTICS, two subsidiaries of CANiK.”
