Turkish Arms manufacturer, CANiK, announced that it will be participating in the third edition of Egypt Defence Expo (EDEX) 2023, to be held in Cairo, Egypt, between 4-7 December.
CANiK will be hosting its visitors at booth number D71 at Hall 4 and it will hold various meetings within the scope of the exhibition.
CANiK will be exhibiting some of its pistols and machine guns such as SFx RIVAL-s, SFx RIVAL, METE MC9, METE SFX PRO, TP9 SUB METE, CANiK M2 QCB, CANiK M2 F, CANiK M3, VENOM 30 LR.
Turkish defense industry in Egypt for the first time in a long time
Following the improvement in relations between Türkiye and Egypt in recent years, a rapprochement in the field of defense industries was expected. Türkiye will be participate in EDEX for the first time with more than 20 companies all working in the field of defense and security.

EDEX, where the latest technologies and solutions in the defense and security sectors are exhibited, is organized with the support of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
More than 350 companies from approximately 40 countries participated in the first edition of EDEX, held in 2018. EDEX 2021, there hosted the pavilions of 21 countries and the booths of approximately 400 companies from 42 countries. Held every other year, this year's edition of EDEX is also projected to host more than 400 defense and security companies which will showcase their latest military technology, equipment and systems.
