At the Enforce TAC exhibition in Germany, Italian firearms manufacturer Benelli, operating under Beretta Holding, showcased its latest innovations.
Dr. Mauro Della Costanza, Head of Sales at Benelli Armi S.p.A Defense, provided an exclusive interview to Defensehere.com, introducing the company’s new M4 A.I. Drone Guardian shotgun.
The M4 A.I. Drone Guardian is an 18.5 inch combat-proven shotgun designed to offer unmatched reliability in all terrains and weather conditions. It serves as a last resort weapon against small quadcopter FPV drones on the battlefield and effectively neutralizes spy drones. Designed for both squad deployment and personal defense, it enhances battlefield survivability for operators facing evolving aerial threats.
Equipped with a patented system featuring an extended and optimized cone inside the barrel, the shotgun improves target engagement at longer distances compared to standard shotguns. It provides superior penetration and destructive capacity, ensuring effective engagement within an optimal range of 0 to 50 meters while extending its capabilities to 100 meters or beyond in certain scenarios.
