The Turkish Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced today that its subsidiary ASFAT Inc. has Exported 4 Mechanical Mine-Clearing Equipment to Burkina Faso.
The Turkish MoD noted that this is considered to be ASFAT’s first exports to region, meaning Africa.
The MoD also stated that the Mechanical Mine-Clearing Equipment have also been sold to Azerbaijan. ASFAT has so far exported 20 MEMATT to Azerbaijan.
Many countries are interested in ASFAT’s MEMATT and it is expected that the company will disclose another foreign sales contract of the equipment within the next couple of days.
