ASELSAN, one of Türkiye’s leading defense companies, will take part in the IDEX 2025 exhibition, set to be held in Abu Dhabi from February 17-21, 2025. The company will showcase its advanced technology solutions at booth 12-D28, engaging with industry professionals from around the world.
During the event, ASELSAN will present its latest developments in key areas such as communications, radar, electronic warfare, air and missile defense systems, avionics, unmanned systems, and cybersecurity. The company aims to strengthen global partnerships, expand into new markets, and introduce its latest technologies to the international defense sector.
Growth Strategy and Recent Developments
ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol previously stated that the company aims to maintain double-digit growth in 2025. He also noted that 31 new products were developed and produced in 2024, with a continued focus on innovation in the coming year.
Separately, ASELSAN recently expanded its regional presence by opening an office in Oman, complementing its existing locations in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.

IDEX 2025, the International Defense Exhibition & Conference, will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Recognized as one of the leading global defense events, IDEX serves as a platform for showcasing the latest defense technologies and fostering international collaboration in the defense sector.
The exhibition will bring together defense industry representatives, government officials, armed forces, and military personnel, offering networking opportunities with policymakers, prime contractors, original equipment manufacturers, and international delegations. IDEX 2025 will feature several key events, including the International Defense Conference (IDC), the IDEX and NAVDEX Start-up Zone, high-level roundtable meetings, the Innovation Journey, and IDEX Talks.
NAVDEX and IDEX 2023 Overview
Held alongside IDEX, the Naval Defense Exhibition (NAVDEX) will focus on naval and maritime defense technologies. The exhibition will include a dedicated hall, a marina for warships, and a dock for smaller vessels, with daily on-water demonstrations.
The previous edition, IDEX 2023, featured 1,353 exhibitors from 65 countries and hosted 860 official delegations from 72 nations. The event attracted 132,507 visitors and saw contracts worth 23.34 billion AED signed.
