ASELSAN participated in the International Defense Industry Fair EDEX 2023 held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, on December 4-7.
During the 4-day fair, ASELSAN exhibited its innovative solutions such as handheld radio, vehicle radio, hybrid handheld terminal, back radio, marine radio, air radio, EHKET, intercommunication system, KANGAL, EIRS, AKKOR, PULAT, EHPOD, TOLUN, GÖZDE, LGK-82, DRAGONEYE, ASELFLIR-500, ALBATROS, MIR, Nefer, İHTAR.
Within the scope of the fair, a “Goodwill Agreement” was signed between ASELSAN and Kader Factory, a company operating in Egypt.
Egypt International Defense Fair EDEX
The International Defense Fair EDEX, where the latest technologies and solutions in the defense and security sectors are exhibited, was organized with the support of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
More than 350 companies from about 40 countries participated in EDEX, which is held every two years and the first one was held in 2018. At EDEX, which was held in 2021, there were pavilions of 21 countries and the stands of approximately 400 companies from 42 countries. More than 400 defense and security companies have participated in this years edition of EDEX.
Türkiye had the highest number of booth participants in EDEX with 23 companies after China.
