Ankara to host int’l military radar, border security summit

The Turkish capital Ankara will host the 3rd Military Radar and Border Security Summit (MRBS) on Oct. 5 to bring local defense industry companies and international participators together.

Organized by the Ankara branch of Turkey’s Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD), the two-day event will be held under the auspices of Turkey’s Interior Ministry, along with the support of the Defense Industry Manufacturers Association (SaSaD).

MRBS, of which DefenseHere.com is the official media partner, has become an international brand in its third year.

The summit will be attended by the procurement committees from 22 countries this year.

The participators will come from Turkish Cypriots, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burundi, Congo, Denmark, France, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Pakistan, Palestine, Serbia, South Sudan, Spain, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and the U.S.

Particularly in the fields of border security and military radar, the latest products of the Turkish defense industry will be exhibited during the summit.

Participators will find the chance of discussing military applications of recent radar breakthroughs, getting an insight into military radar and border security requirements, gaining in-depth knowledge about the emerging military challenges, and understanding the effects of the military budget on future radar acquisitions.
