Prof. Fahrettin Öztürk became the new TEI Chairman of the Board

Turkish Aerospace Executive Vice President Prof. Fahrettin Öztürk has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TUSAS Engine Industries Inc. (TEI).

Who is Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Öztürk?

Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Öztürk currently holds the position of Deputy General Manager at TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries) and is a faculty member within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University.

Öztürk’s educational background is rooted in Mechanical Engineering. He achieved academic excellence in 1992, graduating as the top student from Konya Selçuk University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Subsequently, he pursued his Master’s degree in 1996 at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, USA, and completed his Doctorate degree in 2002 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, USA. During his time in the United States, he contributed his expertise to the General Electric Research Center for a duration of three years.

He boasts an impressive publication record, having authored numerous journal articles, books, book chapters, and conference papers. Additionally, he is known for his columns covering a variety of topics. In his new role, succeeding Osman Saim Dinç, Öztürk will take on the responsibilities of Chairman of the Board at TEI (TUSAŞ Engine Industries, Inc.), a joint venture established between TUSAŞ and General Electric, in addition to his existing position at TUSAŞ.

Undergraduate (1988 – 1992), Selcuk University, Faculty Of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Türkiye. (He graduated from the Department of Engineering as the top student of the department.)
